Home Made Paint Rollers Fantastic rollers your kids can make, then use to create their own masterpiece! You will need: Cardboard tubes (eg lunch wrap rolls, paper towel rolls, toilet rolls) PVA (white) glue Pasta, string, beads, small polystyrene (foam) balls, or corrugated cardboard strips/shapes

What to do:

Paste items of a similar height around each tube using plenty of glue.
Take a look at the pictures for some pattern ideas. We have used cut straw, rice, string and chenille sticks to make different patterns on the rollers. What else can you think of to make another pattern?
Leave to dry thoroughly.
Proceed to paint with your rollers.

Note: If you mix items of different heights, the shorter ones may not come out during the paint rolling process.
